Hi Guys,

I have an interview after a week and want to know about if I need a certified/official court copy for my only speeding ticket that i paid back in 2008. I heard if the ticket is less than $ 500 there is no need for documentation but then I search some people were asked to show the certified copy of thier traffic fine. Also can someone explain how i'm gonna get this copy and where. I have the ticket copy, traffic shcool certificate that I attended and the bank statemnet that i paid the fine.

Remain Thankful-

Raaza

1- where did u get ur speeding ticket?

on the Ticket. it gives u some information. and number where u can call.

Call them and tell them, that u would like to have a copy of ur receipt it shows u paid the fine, this what happend to me. I called them and they sent it to me via mail. and during my interview the interviewer asked me. "Beside ur speeding ticket, have u ever been in Jail?" was NO. so she skipt it. i was honest enough to mention my only speeding ticket on my N-400 application when i filled it. she never asked for DOC. or anything. but just in case. call them and request a copy of ur receipt. Plus with the DOC. u have it should be enough.

Good Luck.

You can go to Clerk of the Court, where you paid the fine.
