Hi everyone!

I want to know when we apply for the visa is from our NOA 1 that we know if all our doctuments are correct or not?

Do they let us know if is everything correct, I mean about the forms. Do they ask for us to correct or not? Do they ask us for more proof if they think is not enough what we sent? I want to know if is from this NOA 1 that we know all these things.

I will appreciate your reply.

Thank you!

I'm not sure of all the reasons for a packet getting rejected, but usually it seems to be odd abbreviations in place names, an expired version of the form, or an incorrect payment amount. These seem to be the things that would cause you to have the packet sent back and not get an NOA1.

The NOA1 itself doesn't mean that your paperwork is correct. All it means is that it was accepted and is in their system. They may find something later and will contact you using an RFE to request more information. This could be fixing a mistake on a form, adding more evidence, etc.

Your NOA1 is simply your receipt nothing more, saying they received it and gives you a receipt number where you can check on USCIS site about your status . If they need anything more you will be sent a letter requesting documents further down the track.
