Do you know if it's possible to get EAD at entry into the USA from Canada on a K1 Visa? I thought I read somewhere that it's possible. My Fiance will be POE on 2/15.

Not anymore, they use to issue stamps but that has been gone for awhile now. She can apply for an EAD on her K1, but its usually not worth it (can take 60-90 days to approve and is only good till her I-94 runs out) so most times we just suggest to get married and AOS ASAP so she can get the EAD in hand quickly. For me, I POE'd Jan 11th, got married Jan 20th, AOS'd like a week later when I got the marriage cert, and got my work permit the end of March, so it only took about 57 days (I believe thats my exact time, you can check my timeline to see) to get the work authorization.

Virtually all POE have discontinued the practice of doing that stamp, K-1 can get SSN without the stamp.

K-1 is a fiancee visa, it is not a work visa.

Also per I-9 EAD stamp is not valid for work anyway I-9 specifies the photo EAD card.

If work shortly after entry is a priority then K-1 is not the visa to petition for, would be better to marry first and apply for a CR-1 spouse visa.
