HELP: AOS and Marriage to American

I have AOS (Permanent Residency) and am looking for information regarding marrying an American. I am also investigating getting married in Canada verses the United States and the logistics of each. Not sure where to start looking for information. Any suggestions?

Do you have a specific American in mind already? If you are lpr , once you find and American who will agree to marry you, simply go get a license and attend the marriage ceremony. As for a wedding service in Canada, you will have to visit Canada websites for their requirements to see if two non-residents can even marry in Canada.

Not sure what you are asking for specifically. What AOS have you gotten. Usually you get an AOS after marrying an American.

I entered the US with a H1B work visa and was granted Permanent Residency on 2004. I am a Canadian citizen. I recently got engaged to an American citizen and we are making wedding plans. Looking for information about being married in Canada vs the US.

It will come down to where you both prefer to get married at then. Not sure about Canada requirements but am pretty sure they will allow you to marry anyone you want as in the U.S. If you want to marry in either place then just do a google search and see what the state you are in has for requirements.
