If you have a checking account, and a debit card, you should be able to use your debit card as a credit card for payment.

yes but there is no option for my bank on there , all it gives me is 1.Visa or MasterCard

2.American Express

3.Paypal

4.MRV fee receipt (from Scotia bank)

and well have none of that .. it wont let me go past the credit card info on the page

Instead of picking Permanent resident (K1) scroll down a few more and click on just Permanent resident. That will take you past the payment page and you can pay at the interview in cash :-)

If you have the Physical debit card, look at your debit card. Somewhere on the face of your card, should have one of those names you listed above. Even though it was issued to you by your bank, it should still carry one of those names. So, you can start with it (Visa or MasterCard or ...) and move on.

Not in Canada. They are just Interac cards, not like here where they are issued by a credit company. The only way to use Canadian debit cards is in person.

Oh I see. Well I guess my knowledge is not relevant to this then. :(
