Does anyone know what the hold up is after receiving NOA2 and I129? It is showing about 90 days to get VISA. We have preemptively gotten all vaccines up to date, and have a lawyer who have pre-done all paperwork. I still cannot figure out what is taking 90 days to get out of the Embassy. Any ideas of timeline would help. We are at about 100 days  and would appreciate any heads-up, UK help would be best.

You aren't the only one applying for a visa in London. They have hundreds of appointments to schedule everyday which means your appointment will not be for more or less another 3 months. That's the way it works. You can call the Dept. of State and inquire when you might expect an appointment although I doubt they would give you a straight answer.

Just to clarify I didn't mean another 3 months on top of what you have already waited, just as a total. You will probably hear from them very soon.

Well the last couple of people that I have seen going through London have gotten to interview, from their package leaving NVC, in 2 months. They done everthing themselves though. So I would be on at your lawyer to ask what is going on. You have no timeline data, so my question to you is, has you or your lawyer sent in packet 3 yet, with the DS form stating that you are ready for interview?

OOPS I screwed up my timeline. That was my NOA1 at 10/27/2010. We're at 100 days. waiting on NOA2. I am thinking we'll get NOA2 in about 40 days. (I'm a newbie, can you tell? And it was late)

Well you don't even need to worry about London right now, you aren't even on the embassy step yet.
