hello all... im doing a k1 visa, my lady is in romania...

i got noa2 and yesterday my lady got the package in the mail from the us embassy...

in the package there were many forms: ds-2053, ds-230, ds-156, ds156k and of-167

this is my question... ds-230 is for an immigrant visa, and ds-156 is for a non-immigrant visa...

which one should my lady submit....

thanks in advance

I would fill them both out, the K1 is a non-imigrant visa, but ultimatly she is imagrating. You need to fill out all the forms they send.

Alos when did you file petition? When did you get NOA1, NOA2 RFE's, where filed, what counsulate you are working with.

We are noticing a lot of posters not doing time lines, It helps us all when they are filled out. :time:

Thank you

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

You fill out all of the forms. Your Fiance will enter the US as a non-immigrant. After you marry and adjust status, your Wife will be an immigrant. Thus, both forms.
