This is a question for the religious who believe in heaven

Just suppose he is found unfit to plead or that his mental condition was such that he can't be found guilty; in that instance can he go to heaven one day ?

On a broader point, do the mentally ill go to heaven, and if so are they still mentally ill when they arrive, or are they all miraculously fixed as they pass they pearly gates ?

Are dumb people still dumb in heaven or do they get an IQ refit ?

I wouldn't like to have a guardian angel who still couldn't graduate school

People speculate about whether people are still old and geriatric in heaven or whether they all become 22 again; but what about their mental capacities ?

I wonder about babies or kids or teenagers that die early and unexpected....Most people seem to think if you are still innocent and young when you die then you get a free pass to Heaven.

But since God knows everything. He knows what type of person that baby, kid, or teen would have become...And some of them would have been hell bound. Don't tell me that out of all the aborted babies or kids <15 years old that died unexpectadly that at least a few of them would have not became murderers.

God knows. And I think if you would have been a serial killer had you not died in that car accident at 5 years old, then God will send your 5 year old butt to HELL FOR ETERNITY!

I don't think you remember things that people like me have already said or you might not ask these kinds of questions. Maybe you do it on purpose. In one of your other threads, about heaven, I mentioned what I believe to be in heaven and peace of mind was one of them. If people could not become mentally sound in heaven, what would be the point of heaven anyway. We all have some issues even if they are very small compared to those diagnosed as insane. Heaven provides relief to everyone who enters.

Well, since you aren't God you don't have his wisdom of how to handle that kind of situation. I personally don't see how He would punish someone for acts they never did.

I don't see how God could punish someone for ETERNITY for acts they did do over the course of human life (70 years).

Even if you are the worst of the worst a couple years of having that feeling of being on fire would be too much. But an eternity?? That makes God the most evil thing ever to exist. And some say you can be a perfect angel but atheist (or a perfect angel but Hindu) and you still go to Hell.

I think it would be fair for God to TORTURE the bad people for a short period of time (ranging from an hour to a few years) and then BADA BOOM BADA BING....these people are cleansed and accepted into Heaven and have learned their lesson...

I think a fair punishment for a bad person would be having to live as a tree on earth.

You are stuck there and glued to the floor...Insects and animals climb up and down on you. You have to endure the weather. You basically are staring in one spot for hundreds of years....That is a fair amount of torture/hell.

I guess you could believe that if you want to, since every religion is completely made up according to you and others. Just make your own and believe whatever you want. But I believe that Jesus said "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." and had the authority to do so. I can't judge every person myself who wasn't following him their whole life and then died. We can't know every single spiritual thing that happens to a person when they are in the process of dying, whether drawn out or dead in seconds.

The heaven thread wasn't that long ago. Who cares if heaven sounds like socialism? lol If socialism was perfectly enacted, which has never happened, we wouldn't have to worry about the negative aspects. Just playing along with this socialism heaven idea.
