I know some people have asked how to request their records from when they crossed the border and have wanted to know what was in the computer about them or what notations were made.

I found this site which has a blanket FOIA form letter that could be used as a template. Not saying I agree with the site or it's information, just saying it is a good template for a letter to obtain the information.
