I am about to write my 2 state senators and 19 representatives. Anyone have any advice on what kind of things to say or what information to give apart from the obvious? Case number, dates, 5+ months, etc.?

Any help is greatly appreciated, good luck to all.

Hello

You can only write your congressman in the district

you live in, they wont respond if your not in his

or her district.

Senators you can write for all state.

If you contact a congressman dont excpet to get

a reply if your not living in that district, because you

have to submit a release form where you live and why

your writing for help. At that point they will notify

you must contact your own congressman in the district

where you live.

And also include why your contacting him for USCIS help.

Good Luck

Search for the consent form that your representative uses first because usually they need that from you before they can look into your case. It's probably on their website.

To be honest, I just called my congressman's office directly, and they were quiet helpful. All the best! Also be sure to throw in something about how ridiculous the whole process is and how it needs to be reformed. It should never be acceptable to keep a married couple apart for such a long period of time!
