i filed an i130 for my husband in march of 2010 it was transfer to a local service center for an interview, after the interview the case was approved thesame day the case was reopened i got both notice in the mail i call the service center and they sent a responce back to visit my local office, then i did so i got an attoney now we made a infopass appointment and went to the office again the officer we ment said that the case is about to be sent to investigations i dont know why because every thing she requested i gave to her. she told me she was waiting for my A file, but she have not receive the A file yet because the file was in for my citizenship so i dont know why she will refer it to investigation when she have not receive the A file yet. my question is should i just withdraw the petition and refile since i am now a US citizen, will that make any difference? or just wait please some body help me.

You have a number of red flags going with your case and they are just going over it very carefully. Report to them that you are a citizen and it changes the priority of your current case and in theory allows more leeway in adjudacating it. ( Citizens are hiugher on the tree than LPRs)

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.
