that movie creeped me out and made me at the same time.

eta: I just read further and see you haven't watched it yet. all I will add is I think the people around him were a little too nice when it came to accepting his "girl"

You went through that stage too, eh? I remember having a terrible crush on this girl back in 5th grade, named Nancy Bandis. If she even looked in my general direction, I'd feel all squishy inside.

Have you ever seen Bridges of Madison County? In the movie, Meryl Streep slightly tugs on the back of her shirt when walking away from Clint Eastwood after they first met. I remember her saying in an interview or something that this is a sign that the girl is interested, so that's why she did it in the movie. It's amazing after knowing this, how often girls do that. Watch for it, you'll see. But maybe they just think I'm looking at their a*s and hoping to see panties or a whales tail.
