Hello all...

Hope everyone is good and having a good 2011 so far...

I have some questions about my AOS/EAD as looking at the timelines people are jumping ahead of me :(

I had my biometrics on 9th november 2010.

On 23rd november we got a rfe asking for more evidence of my husbands income and tax info.

We sent this all off in december. We have heard nothing at all...but I know they received it as we paid for certified mail and according to the tracking they got it on december 27th.

I have seen otehr people receive the EAD withing 60 days. I am desperate to get back to work!!!

I am wondering, should I be expecting a new NOA or will they just send the EAD when ready???

I assume I don't have to go for biometrics again?

ANy advice, who can I contact/call? It's driving me crazy.

Thanks

Most people get approved for EAD around 70-90 days, not 60. Also keep in mind that you had a RFE pending for a month, so you may have lost a month's time if that RFE was holding up the EAD (most times they do, but sometimes they don't). So I would guess that you'll get the EAD within a month now. Hopefully you didn't lose any time and the EAD will be approved soon (like in a few days as per your VJ estimation. You don't get a NOA, just an approved email, or maybe just the card in the mail if the alert system is malfunctioning. Good luck and hang in there.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
