I think I"ll be in the March interviews...not sure yet. We were told our file was done at NVC yesterday..and that our expedite request was approved. So, I dont know how they handle the expedited requests..bump us up ahead of Feb or early March. File should be hitting Montreal tomorrow afternoon from what the NVC supervisor said.

So, what kind of info are you guys putting together for your interview? The Proof of Marriage stuff? Wedding album..regular pics? chat logs? txt messages? emails?

My wife and I txt all the time, but it's off two US numbers on the same shared acct. Kinda pointless to show txt messages for us I believe. So we're gonna dig up other stuff..but also show proof of the cell phone lines which are in my name.

Any suggestions? Congrats on your interview date. I can't imagine how excited you guys are..I'm tripping out waiting for mine..you at least know the day, lol.

I started getting my 'proof book' done. It has a year of phone records in it...I highlighted any call made to/from my husband, his work, his mother, his brother etc..anything that would be attributed to him. I have pictures from when we were dating, our engagement, wedding, holidays with each other's family and trips we took. I also have copies of my life insurance policy with his name as beneficiary (no bank accounts as of yet). I have cards he has given me, ones I gave him and also ones that were addressed to both of us (thank you cards, invitations etc..) I guess I could include some emails but we talk on the phone more than email or chat (as we both work 9-5 jobs). As for gifts, I don't really know what I would include...I'm wearing the biggest one he has giving me on my left ring finger :D

Met in 2004 at a Dave Matthews Band concert, started dating November 2005, engaged February 2009 and married November 14, 2009. Together in the US on March 19th 2011

Latest news is that we're supposed to hear directly from Montreal and if we dont hear from them by THIS friday, we have to call NVC Washington, which is Dept of State. Did anyone else have to submit all originals? They required ALL original documents to be sent to them...I thought that was odd..or does anything think it was due to our Expedite request/approval? Well..snow storm is kicking here in Windsor..I suppose I can wait a few more days..I'll clean enough snow to stay busy.

I sent in all originals and it was a great idea. They gave it back anyways during your interview. Since they have all of my original docs I was out early and finished my interview in less than 1 hr.
