Hi All,

I am glad to have found this forum, information are very useful and relieves some anxiety though with regtrogression for F2A this year, it does increase anxiety levels of the affected ones.

My wife (petitioner) is yet to submit her I-864. Since she just started working (her first job ever) in Guam - will she be able to get -- Most recent tax return (all forms) ? Or the Last 3 years Tax transcripts, W-2 and/or 1099 (any source of income) OPTIONAL ?

My wife already asked from her employer about it and said they will give her employment cert, I just wanted to know since she just started working will she be able to get Tax transcripts or tax returns? If not, will that be ok to submit just employment cert so long as we have another joint sponsor?

Hoping to get an enlightenment with our concern.

Thanks in advance!

If just started working, did she file returns for 2009, 2008, 2007?? If not, then she would attach a note as to why no prior returns, cannot get transcripts of a return that was not filed.

Employer letter, and some pay stubs will help show current and future income.

But in this case I would get a joint sponsor.

Moving this to NVC forum, I-864 is not needed when filing a petition, it is needed when NVC requests it.

Thanks! No tax returns ever filed for her. This is her first job ever. So, she just needs to get Employment letter and pay stubs from her employer now and another JOINT SPONSOR. We are actually being join-sponsored by her sister. So as for my wife's requirements, no need to wait for her to get all these tax returns so long we have her sister a joint sponsor with all complete requirements?
