Hey guys I've been roaming the boards for a bit but recently I hit a wall with the AOS process. Let me start off by giving you my timeline so far.

10/25/10 - Sent in package to Chicago Lockbox

11/06/10 - Received receipts.

11/08/10 - Received biometrics appointment for 12/01/10 and Soft LUD

11/30/10 - Completed Biometrics

Im not exactly sure of the date, but our lawyer received an RFE asking for the petitioners Taxes once again.

01/03/11 - they received RFE

So far nothing on the USCIS status page.

I'm a little worried, when should we start hearing anything? Interview letter? EAD?

Thank you! :help:

Do you know where your case is? Did you get a notice if it was sent to CSC or a local office?

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

The USCIS status leaves much to be desired as to status updates, many report not getting any updates there.

I'm not exactly sure. All I know is something about the Missouri Service Center but i'm not too sure if that was for the EAD or the 485.

This is what it says under the USCIS case status:

On January 3, 2011, we received your response to our request for evidence. This case is being processed at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. And so on on on on on

The USCIS status leaves much to be desired as to status updates, many report not getting any updates there.

Isn't that the truth

They are still processing it then, expect another couple of months atleast for the green card. EAD and AP no idea, could be any time they are approved now.

Thank you for the fast reply. What would be the next step for the i-485 application?

What type of visa are you adjusting from?? K-1, or something else?? Timeline please: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=98348

If from a K-1, one of two things will happen, USCIS sends to California, and approves the AOS without an interview, or decides to interview and sends to your field office for an interview.

If from some other visa, they will send it to field office for an interview.

Sorry for leaving that out. Father's brother (USC) petitioned him, I'm a derivative beneficiary, F4 category.
