Hi VisaJourney Community,

My husband and I submitted the documents for his AOS, and it was received Dec 3, 2010. We received our NOA Dec 10, and then we got our Biometrics appointment notice a few weeks later. That appointment was yesterday, January 7, 2011.

I just checked our online status on the uscis.gov website, and I see that they mailed out a letter for an RFE Jan 5 (two days before the Biometrics appointment, but after the appointment notice).

I'm trying not to be worried, wondering what this RFE could be. How possible is it that it's our Interview date letter?

And is it common to receive an RFE after the Biometrics is already scheduled?

Thanks for any help...and reassurance...you can give.

Kelley

You can get RFE any time in the process, even at the interview.
