Questions on DS 230

We're currently waiting for approval to file our DS230-fee has been processed. Questions:

1) not realizing this process would be so lengthy (!) I obtained police clearance certificates shortly after we filed our I-130 in April 2010. Do you think that they will want updated certificates?

2) On the form it requests a list of all visits to the US. How far back should I try to go? I can detail the last 10 years fairly accurately, but I've been crossing the US/Canadian border since I was a kid in the 1950s-long before passports etc. were required. What do you think?

thanks for your help

1) Police certs are valid 1 year, so unless interview happens after they expire, you should be fine.

2) Just list the ones you can remember on a separate sheet, this is quite common for US/Canada.

You are dong a CR-1, Not K-3, moving this to NVC forum..

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.
