expedite request approved

Hello everyone, as you all know my husband submitted an expedite request on the 29th dec and got approved yesterday. thank God.

the letter from his doctor at the veteran affairs hospital helped. now how can we get it to expedite thru the NVC to get it to the

embassy faster since he really does need me . i thank yuo all for the info.

You will have to request expedite from the embassy and the NVC, I think for NVC all you need to do is call and give your case number and say you were approved for expedite by USCIS, they should flag it and send it through.

The embassy is different tho... sometimes they can just ignore the expedite request and USCIS or NVC cant force them to do anything. When you know that your file is going to the embassy you need to call/email them with your names, birth dates and NVC case number. In the subject put request for expedite and explain why, tell them it was expedited by USCIS. they will likely ask you to fax your papers to them before granting the expedite at the embassy level.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
