I-129 Question!

2 posts in this topic

Recommended Posts

So after getting approved I have major questions!!

The USCIS officer told me to mail my fiance an I_864. I did not get a lot of responses as to why he told me to use that instead of the I-134? Also, he told me to bring the supporting documents for the affidavit of support. I have LOST my copy of the original I-129 but he said that is fine, I still have the copy of the supporting documents?

What is my NEXT step to complete this process in a speedy way.. making sure I have everything I need??

Thank you so much for your help!!! You guys rock!!:dance:

USCIS is not always correct when telling you what you need to do. Its a common problem posted on these forums.

You need supporting documents for the affidavit of support not the I-129F. That means all the supporting documents for the I-134.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
