Next week I'll be filing for my ROC and I just wanted to be sure first before using the outdated form.Since its the only edition available on their website will it be safe using it without the risk of having it returned to us?

Please read USCIS website:

A form's OMB date is NOT the form's expiration date, OMB date has to do with a survey conducted by USCIS for OMB (Office of Management and Budget) and has to do with the paper-work reduction act.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

That is the latest version. We just mailed our i-751 and we used the current version on the USCIS website. In my professional opinion, you are good to go. Good luck.
