NOA1 SINCE 04/20/06 STILL NO NOA2????

HI,

COULD SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME ON WHAT NUMBER CAN I CALL USCIS FOR MY PENDING K3 APPLICATION I HAD GOT MY NOA1 ON 04/20/2006 BUT SINCE THEN NO NOA2.

THEY RECIEVED MY RFE ON 7/29/06 ITS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH NOW BUT NOTHING.

I TRIED THE 1-800 NUMBER BUT IT DOESNT CONNECT FROM HERE SINCE IM CALLING OUT OF THE UNITED STATES IS THERE ANY OTHER NUMBER ?

AND WHICH DAY IS BEST TO CALL THEM CAUSE IM NOT SURE IF THEY ARE WORKING ON WEEKENDS

PLEASE TELL ME AS PER THE VJ TIMELINES WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY NOA2????

That would depend on variables such as the backlog due to IMBRA and if the petition is undergoing background/security checks which may be holding things up.

As you are now into the NVC process with the I-130 for the CR-1, it is more beneficial at this stage IMO to be continuing this path as when the I-129F is approved there is more then likely going to be little time difference between the two visas, and afterall the CR-1 is the biggie that comes with all the benefits.

I GUESS ALL THAT I CAN DO IS WAIT AND WAIT AND WAIT TILL I HEAR SOMETHING FROM THEM

OR WAIT FOR MY CASE TO BE COMPLETED FROM NVC FOR MY CR1 AND GET AN INTERVIEW SOON

REALLY WANT TO BE WITH MY WIFE ASAP

It is hard to say when your I-129F will be approved. Good news is, your I-130 is going well. For now, please stick with your I-130 process and when your I-129F will be approved, you can think about that then.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
