Maybe you should wait for the hard copy and send everything in one package. They may not process your application without an answer from selective service. If you were required to do selective service but you ignored it, you may not be able to become a citizen. Since you've already done it, just wait for the confirmation from them. It usually comes in the mail within 10 days. That's how long it took to get mine.

Good day everyone!

I was just wondering if i can submit my n400 w/o my selective service #? i already have registered but haven't received the hard copy yet. will that be ok?

Thank you very much and have a wonderful day!

Of course, you always can wait but I really don't think it matters. They will tell you in that famous yellow letter to bring a copy of the registration. You registered, that is important and that is what you have to write down in your file.

If in my interview letter it says to bring a proof of registration to selective service, is it standard

what kind of proof is required?

Is a printout from their web site with the number is sufficient ?

I received the yellow letter, but it didn't mention anything about selective service.

It has been a long time since I registered and I can't find the hard document

Thank you in advance
