NOA2 AND APPLICATIONS PRESENTATION

I think the way you package and present your application determines how fast you recieve you NOA2. Plus any other evidences. These guys at USCIS are kinda lazy, so if your application is muddled up and messy expect these government workers to throw your application to the back of the line. That's another long wait just because some government worker is having a bad day and does not want to use their initiative to sort things out.

I have read that taking care in organizing the package helps. I went so far as printing the I-129F and G-325A forms on correctly colored papers, and in the correct orientations, and hole punching everything at the top with standard 2 hole punch for ease of placing in the stadard folders that they use. I also clipped the various parts using easy to remove clips, no staples.

What ever can be done to present the package can help. They can be a bit cranky there in the government offices.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

While I am sure a well organized packet is easier to read and sort through, I don't believe it makes a difference in the processing time. The only thing that seems to slow down processing is if something is missing--then an RFE must be issued.

If packet organization was the only issue--then it would follow that everyone who files in Vermont is organized and the rest of the country (who has to use CSC) is very unorganized.

Doesn't hold up. I paid an attorney to make mine so clean you could eat off it. I've got an NOA1 in April.

That theory sounds great. It does help from getting an RFE, but does not have anything to do with how fast they will process your case.

I have two immigration attorney friends, that have been in the business over 15 years each and they reviewed my packet and it still took 148 days. Granted much of that time was due to Imbra. But save yourself some angst, be patient and go by their processing times, no matter how ridiculous they seem.

When you get to 30 days past their processing time, make a congressional inquiry. That is about the only thing the will get your file off of the bottom of the pile in corner.

Good luck on your journey.

With CSC, you might be right! LOL! I am sure that it's probably refreshing for the Adjudicator to receive a coherent and well presented petition. However, that's not the criteria for an approval, but it should make it easier for the review of the petition, which you could make an argument that it may save time in the approval process to be organized. Cheers!!!
