My Philippine passport is expiring this January and I would like to renew it before it expires.. is there any link out there you could give me, I tried searching on the philippine embassy site but it said site in progress.. We may or may not come to the Philippines this year.

What did you put on the new passport, new last name? or same as the one you had. Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you.

try this site...www.philippineconsulatela.org this is in LA, but since you are in Texas, i guess covered kayo ng Chicago consulate since un ang pinakamalapit na consulate sa inyo. If you are K1, kelangan mong ireport and marriage mo para magamit mo ang married name mo. Pwede mong isabay ang pagreport ng iyong marriage sa pag renew ng pp mo, kelangan lang na complete ang mga papers mo para di masayang ang pagtravel mo at magamit mo ang married name mo.

Since you live in Tennessee, you will renew your passport through the Philippines Embassy in Washington D.C. The fact that you are removing conditions on your green card will have no effect on your passport renewal. When you renew your passport, I think it's a good idea to use your married name if you use your married name on your Social Security card, your Green Card, and your drivers license.

After looking at the Embassy's web site, I'm not sure which form you would use to renew your passport, since they don't have a specific form for the purpose of renewing a passport. However, you could simply email or call the Embassy and ask them which form to use.

Renewing your passport will require you to either appear at the Embassy in Washington, D.C., or wait until the Embassy offers an outreach in your area.

I'm the wife of an American Soldier;

I'm the hope that lives within him after storm clouded days.

The freedom from war that gives wings to his heart,

May they reach across the miles and bind our hearts together

against all that we must face in this world.
