Mailing Address vs Residential Address - A Problem???

Dear fellow K-1ers,

If my mailing address (i receive mail at a USPS PO Box) is different from my residential address:

-Will this pose a problem or a red flag?

-What do I write under the "address" question on the 1-129F and the G-325A? My mailing address or my residential address? These is no seperate questions for the mailing address!

-For the question on the I-129F that asks "where will your fiance live when she comes to the US", I obviously have to write my residential address, but if they see that the address in that question is different than the address entered under address on the I-129F and G-325A (assuming i entered my mailing address there), will this cause a problem or a redflag?

I had the same problem when I first applied for K-1 visa for my wife physical address different then mailing.

after my initial application that I submitted I used physical address (had mail box but never used). I then sent a seperate letter that my mailing address was different. In the letter I put my physical address and told them I did not receive mail there but received my mail at a post office box, recommend that you give full address then full mailing address. I would put this signed letter in with your K-1 visa packet and list it on your cover sheet so they see it, then wait for for I-797 for acceptance and see what address if not correct call service center.
