Are you petitioner or beneficiary?

As petitioner you have to have current job status to sponsor your principle Applicant or You need to find Joint Sponsor.

For Joint Sponsor:

1. Form I-864P with signed

2. make sure he is over qualified for poverty guideline

3. US Passport copy/ Green card/ naturilization copy

4. recent 3 months pay stubs.

5. Letter of Employment

6. If he/She own the house, need House appraisal

7. IRS tax transcript for 2009.

I believe this INFO will help you bit.

Good luck.

Get a joint sponsor you don't have enough evidence to prove your income.

I am currently working on the same job, but I just started 4 months ago.I am making $1600 a month but it is only 4 months.

You can still caculate by yourself if you qualified for Poverty guideline.

Let say 1600X12=19200 Yes! you could eligible for one person.

I would say for solid your case, you need Joint Sponsor.

It is highly chance to get RFE for the Joint sponsor at interview time.

You could try with your last 4 months pay stub. but I would never take risk like this

Yes, you might get denied. Can't you get someone to co-sponsor? Your fiance's interview is next month! It's crunch time, now! Mom? Dad? Sibling? Uncle? Aunt? Good friend? Any US citizen or LPR who might be willing to help you out?

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

The interview is in Abu Dhabi, my fiance is from Iran.

I will have my interview in Abu Dhabi too on 18th of January. I heard the CO their is very nice. A friend of mine got interview last week. The interview went Ok but the Co asked her to have a co-sponsor bcoz her fiance has a very low income for 2009 and a self employed. You're income seems very good but they really look for 2009 income. If i were you, i will find a co sponsor just incase they will ask for one so you dont have to wait another 2 weeks or so to comply with requirements. My fiance is on SSDI and has a partially depended daughter but he has a part time job from his family's businesses. I am a little bit worried too that we might need a co-sponsor. His family offered me 4 jobs which are full time & part time. They have letters stating that they are offering me a job as soon as i arrive in the US but ofcourse if I will be issued a temporary work permit as i enter US otherwise i'll wait for my authorization to be able to work.

Just want to add something. Though he is on SSDI, it is a steady income and accepted for I-134. He was a self employed for 10 years and stopped last 2009 because of his health. We have Form 1040 for 2007 and 2008, notice of award for SSDI, pay stubs & letters from his part time jobs, SS benefit statement for 2009 and bank statements. Im telling all this so others can give their opinions.
