My fiance still hasn't received packet 3 and NVC sent docs to embassy the day after thanksgiving. Shouldn't he have received something by now? I was visiting all of last week hoping that he would get something, but still no packet 3? The numbers I've called doesn't seem to connect you to an actual person? Is there a number I can call to find out if they recieved package from NVC? I read somewhere that he can go to the embassy to pick up packet 3 himself. Is that true?

Call Visa services state side for status, they can tell you if Packet 3 has been sent.

This happened to us as well for packet 3 and 4.

I've never been able to call and get any information.

You can send an email to consularkingst@state.gov to confirm if the packet was sent out. Be sure to include your case number.

If it has been sent out and you havent revd it then they will give you a date and time to come pick up a duplicate copy.

Good luck!

My packet 3 was a phone call to fiance confirming his e-mail account so she could e-mail him packet 3, and an e-mail that sayed fill out these forms and mail them to the embassy. DS-156, DS-156K DS-157, DS-230. And medical info. That was it. No packet in the mail and those where the only intructions. So me and fiance are filling everything out and sending everything (copies not originals) to the embassy. Police certificates, photos and all. Then bringing the originals to the interview. My friend sayed back in the day all you had to fill out and send was the DS-230 and everything else would be presented at the interview, but her interview was years ago. We are just doing what our packet 3 email says. Any thought?

Packet 3 has the DS230 that has to be returned in order to get your interview date. (The fastest way is to email it back to the embassy)

It also has a check off list of the items that you need to bring to the interview.

..the places that you can take the medical.

The applications that are needed for the day of the interview are also in packet 3.

Packet 4 has the letter with the interview date and time.

Duplicate information that was in packet 3… like the check off list, places to take the medical and the applications needed for the interview.

Are you aware of what is needed for the interview? Like supporting documents?
