Thanks but I'm still not sure if that's close to where I am going. I've tried to check maps but can't figure out where E. Independence is in reference to E. Moorehead Street. I guess we are just going to end up driving around until we find something.

yeah, i am fine with any tool too. just noticed the diff in the results between these two.

as to your point though, some folks like to hear other folks opinions. maybe the op was looking for a local's advice or some recent traveler to the area.

Thanks to everyone for the opinions/help. I don't really have problems with the internet. I can find things just fine, I just wanted, like Daniel said, to know if anyone in the area had any ideas. I thought if someone lived in or around Charlotte they could give me a better idea than something off the net. I have gotten directions and maps off the net before that were way off. You can't always trust what you find to be accurate. Some of the directions you get from mapquest and such are way off base. Especially around here because we have so many little roads that they don't even bother to put on maps. We actually didn't have any problems finding a hotel. It was right down the road from where we needed to go. Plus, we didn't use any of the information I got off the net to find it. Just the atlas we had in the car. It wasn't the nicest of places but it worked for one night. Again, thanks to everyone who helped. I really appreciate it.
