visa application fee bill - Bogota

I was wondering if the visa application fee bill that we are invoiced $404.00 is the same one that we can pay at the Bogota embassy. I have read that many people have to pay some 350.000 pesos or so after they get approved at the interview. Is that the same thing??? If it is, i think it's better to pay it there because it would be cheaper.

Or what do you recommend?

The visa fee people pay in Bogotá is only for visas K1. Since you're sending your payment to the NVC, you won't have to pay any additional fees once they case is transferred to the embassy.
