Ds 3032 and next steps

I have sent out the Ds 3032 , also parallelly paid the i864 and sent out the checklist. But the automated message said to have received Ds 3032, will they send me packet to fill up? I have not got any email also , how long does it take?

You need to wait until they have accepted your DS-3032. Once they have accepted it, you will able to pay IV FEE in the payment portal. then print out the IV coversheet, send your DS-230 along with your supporting document:

Thanks for your reply. It's almost one week , the automated voice is repeating that they received DS3032 , they have not inserted into the system .

I got the police clearance and birth certificate from Dhaka today . Hopefully submit in three days after I pay the IV fees

I have received first package from nvc & paid aos bill online, which status is paid & automated message saying that they will mail the next package. although we have sent ds 3032 through email since three days but we have not received neither a reply from nvc if it was accepted nor the automated message giving any information about it. thus I am wondering, should I call nvc & speak to them for assistance on this? how long does it usually take to get a reply after emailed ds 3032 to nvc? any feedback will be appreciated

As you have the cover letter , you can prepare the AOS 864 package and send it over, you don't need to wait for any correspondence from them. As your fee is shown paid , you can see the link open to Affodavit of support processing

To save time tell Bhaijan to collect the Police clearance from Bangladesh and if they provide , Saudi Arabia. if you have it in our hand you will save time in the DS 230 part submission

As the nvc may require my current year ws 2 with i-864, thus i am going to submit the i-864 after completetion of my current year taxation which will be done by Jan,2011. Meantime my husband will preapre his police certificates both from Dhaka & Saudi. Do you have any idea how to obtain a police clearnace from dhaka while my husband is living abroad?

Although we have sent email to nvc with a cscanned copy of ds 3032 on 14 dec,2010 but there is no confirmation made yet for that by nvc. should i seend them another email with a scanned copy of ds 3032?

I will not waste 2 more months on the taxation, i submitted last years 2009 tax return transcript. about DS 3032, i sent them the email format also hard copy. though some people were successful with the email 3032 , my case it worked with the Hard copy coz they activated that only after getting my hard copy version

How to get Bangladesh "Police Clearance Certificate"

Police Clearance Certificate can be obtained easily from the one-stop service center of Dhaka Metropolitan Police HQ in Minto Road (or Bailey Road). Official SLA claims that it will be delivered on the 7th day from the date of application submission.

Pre-Requisites:

* Photocopy your passport (First 6 pages plus any pages related to validity extension or correction of information)

* Every page of the photocopied passport must be attested by a First Class Government Officer. If you live abroad, this must attested by your local Bangladesh Embassy Official.

* Pay the service charge of Taka 250 by using "Treasury Chaalan" from Sonali Bank. Not all Sonali Banks will do this. Use this code for payment. The code must be written ! The code is 1 - 2 2 0 1 - 0 0 0 1 - 2 6 8 1

* Write an application addressing to "The Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police".

* You must state your cell phone number in the application.

* You must know your Police Station (Thaana). Sometimes, even the police officers are not sure which is the right "Thaana" you belong to.

Process:

1. Go to the DMP HQ, follow the sign for the One-Stop Service Center.

2. Submit your application.

3. Get the token.

4. Someone will contact you from the Local Police Station (Thaana) and make an appointment. You must be present at home (The address you stated in your passport) that time.

5. After physical verification, you should go back to the same place to collect the certificate. The collection date is already stated on your token.

Important Info

* Every thing is based on the permanent address you mentioned in your passport. So if there's any issue with that, resolve it beforehand.

* Do carry your original passport with you when you go for the first time. They, sometimes, want to see that.

You need to give them sometime to review your DS-3032. I also suggest you send the original signature with DS-3032 with your IV/AOS packet. Email is fine at this time. To make your case solid, you should send one via snail mail.

Let me clear you up what documnetation you have to submit at NVC for AOS:

1. Cover Sheet( from NVC payment portal)

2. Form I-864 EZ signed by petitioner

3. Tax transcript from IRS only 2009. ( Good enough )

4. Pay checks atleast last 3 months.

5. Letter from your present Employer

6. Savings/Checking account statements( even petioner has $5000.00 balance )

7. Copy of Green card/ US passport

My wife went to get PCC from chittagong, The officer was very nice. He said normal will take 1 month because it will go to Dhaka and then all the hassle. He offered my wife that just pay BDT1000.00(($14.50), you will get PCC within a week. I think thats great offer, my wife pay BDT 1250.00 get it done within a week without hassle. Sometimes normal procedure more hassle than going in back door option.

I appreciate your kind replies. All those informations were very useful to work on my case. NVC had sent me an email acknowledgement of receiving my DS 3032 & generated Applicant visa fee, which I have paid yesterday & waiting to get the applicant visa fee coversheet. Hope the visa will be granted before payments validity expired. Thanks to you all for being so helpful to assist me as well as others.

I submit the DS3032 yesterday August 3, 2011 on line and I have confirmation letter. how long it is going to take before they generate the IV fee invoice.
