I am from Pakistan. My Maternal Grandfather is a citizen of USA.He applied for our US immigration in Nov 2002.Last week we received a letter from NVC about fee which was 88 US$.My mothers Uncle who is also living in US paid it because that letter was sent by NVC to him.after the fee payment,My mother uncle sent that letter to us here Pakistan.that letter was DS-3032.we filled it and sent it back to NVC two days ago.

Now the problem is that we sent the DS 3032 via registry(Registery is a process in Pakistan of sending documents in a cheaper way and it takes almost three months to reach NVC)

we realized that the document will reach the NVC in a very long time via REGISTRY so than we sent another copy of DS 3032 via urgent mail service (faster way of sending documents)

we sent both DS 3032 at the same day

Now they will receive two DS 3032 from the same address.will they object on this situation or not????

second thing i want to know that how much time is left for us to go to US now that we have send the DS 3032.It was written on DS 3032 that it will take approximately 9 months or 1 year.

and third question is that what will happen after they will receive DS 3032.what is the next stage and procedure after DS-3032.

THANK YOU!!!

the petitioner/Beneficiary can email NVC a copy of Ds3032, it will speed up the process for other paper work.

It will not be a problem i think if they with recieved twice (my thought).

Hi Muneeb,

When I said address change what I mean was if there is any change in address then you need to update that with NVC.. (maybe I should have mentioned more clearly...)..

Also it's very good idea to submit email address of both petitioner and beneficiary so whenever email sent all will be notified...

Case completion depends on under what family based category you have applied for....

below are list of available category...decide under which category you are and check current priority date from visa bulletin...

http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html

Family-Sponsored Preferences

1st : Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Citizens: 23,400 plus any numbers not required for fourth preference.

2nd : Spouses and Children, and Unmarried Sons and Daughters of Permanent Residents: 114,200, plus the number (if any) by which the worldwide family preference level exceeds 226,000, and any unused first preference numbers:

2A : Spouses and Children: 77% of the overall second preference limitation, of which 75% are exempt from the per-country limit;

2B : Unmarried Sons and Daughters (21 years of age or older): 23% of the overall second preference limitation.

3rd : Married Sons and Daughters of Citizens: 23,400, plus any numbers not required by first and second preferences.

4th : Brothers and Sisters of Adult Citizens: 65,000, plus any numbers not required by first three preferences.

cheers..

Hi,

Hard copy means.. take a printout of form and post to NVC...

Also list out here all members in your family with age to whom your maternal grandfather applied visa...age will play very vital role for your Mother kids (your brother/sisters) if any children is above 21 years then some different rule applies (pls note I am NOT 100% sure what's that)...

may be some other member will shed some light once you list out all members...

Regards...

Hi Muneeb,

I think your eldest brother who is 26 will be in trouble since he has crossed 21 years.

For you and your big brother should be alright under derivative status if both are under 21 and UNMARRIED.

F3: Married sons or daughters of U.S. citizens. The beneficiary’s spouse and children under the age of 21 are eligible for derivative status under his/her visa petition.

Here beneficiary is your mother and her spouse and children under 21 are eligible for derivative status under his/her visa petition. Still do more and more research on this since this is just my knowledge and haven't experienced it.

hope this helps..

Cheers,
