Hi Guys! I was finally able to schedule an interview appointment. I was worried that there were going to be limited slots for December since our embassy is about to roll out with a new service to handle appointment scheduling. Anyways, I just wanted to ask here regarding some questions that I have for the requirements during the interview.

1. My fiancee's Birth Certificate does not have her gender marked. She already fixed this with the NSO (National Statistics Office) but she won't get this until her interview date! (12/10). Do you guys think that this is a major issue? I'm going to try and find another slot for the interview, but if we can't find any opening. We were thinking about just going ahead with the Birth Certificate with no gender marked. What do you guys think?

2. On the I-134- there's question #9 I have previously submitted affidavit of support for the following person(s)? When I filed my I-130 for my ex-wife before when I was still just a permanent resident I remember sending one. But since things didn't work out between us and we got the marriage annulled, I cancelled the I-130. Should I indicate that I submitted an I-134 for the I-130 and just put a note PETITION CANCELLED beside it?

3. The same goes for question #10 I have previously submitted a visa petition to USCIS on behalf of the following person(s). Should I include the I-130 that I cancelled and just put a note beside it again (PETITION CANCELLED)?

4. Question #8 on I-134: The following persons are dependent upon me for support. My ex-wife and I have a verbal agreement that I send this X amount of money for my son every month. There is no court order whatsoever regarding this. It is just a common agreement between the two of us. Should I write my son as partially dependent to me? Or does this only refer to people living with me here in the U.S.?

Sorry for all the questions guys. I appreciate your help!

Cheers!

1- I will go ahead with the original birth certificate and let them know that he got it resolve and he gets it 12.10..maybe you can get a letter from nso saying something about it..

2- yes

3-yes

4- I believe its only people in USA...but you can put the x amount you send him as well..I think if you are well over poverty income you should be OK.

good luck

1.worst case scenario is you go in,you have the interview, and your fiancee gets a 221G requesting the correct birth certificate, dont worry about it.

2.yes

3.yes

4.i dont think you need to mention that,of course there are people who want to be overly honest, and there are people who want give as much information as requested.if your household size with your fiancee will be 2,i suggest you dont mention the amount of money you send your son

Yeah, that's what were thinking as well as the worst case scenario if they don't accept or give us a hard time for the birth certificate.
