my husband is a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR). he filed a petition for me under F2A, my priority date is april 2010. last month (october 2010) he received Affidavit of Support invoice which he paid $88, he also received DS3032, after all this thing, how long does my case will takes? as a principal visa applicant, is my 9 year old son can go with me as a derivative? hoping some of you guys in this forum can give some info regarding my concern. Thank you.

a new HOPE for us DREAM -ACT immigration law did'nt make it to the cngress, apparently this bill would benefited illegal immigrants who came here to pursue their american dream, my opinion is this , the DOS stop processing and issuing visa to family based petition due to the anticipation that this bill will pass. And now maybe they will start working with our visa categories, Does it make sense?

Im not against this people , they are like us who wanted to have a better life , but jeez do it legally.

it wouldn't take too long if your case was current, sad it moves back to 2008, ds3032 is a form which gives you an authority to choose who will receive letter from NVC, after that once you assigned an agent , you have to submit AOS ,then DS3032 , then pay $404 for the principal and the kid,,,then print DS2030 complete all docs and wait ...wait...wait ...once approve schedule for interview follows ..pray that it would move back to Aug 2010, my case was finished last Dec 14 ,,,sad retrogression hits my case my pd is 2009 ...pray to God and have FAith...you'll be family soon :)

are you USC OR LPR??
