I wanted to touch base with you regarding your wife’s case. We were informed that the California Service Center of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service approved your petition on October 19th and that it was subsequently received by the National Visa Center (NVC) on October 26th and assigned the case number: MTL ******. It is my understanding that NVC has since received the agent of choice letter as well as the affidavit of support and the visa application fees. My contact at NVC informed me that you should be receiving an e-mail message next week with a link/attachment for the visa application and document checklist.

This information came from a senators office that looked into our case, what does she mean when she says that we'll be getting a link for the visa application and document checklist?? Haven't we already done the whole visa applications thing?? Am I missing something here??

Thanks!

It may just be a link to any forms that you will need for the consulate interview. It appears as though your NVC paperwork is complete and all fees have been paid. I wouldn't worry too much about it and see what they send you next week.

May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
