We just got our ds-230 and interview request package sent to us from the embassy (initial application approved). It says we need to fill out the forms inside and send back but DON'T send the supporting documents? So we just take her NBI and passport to the interview is that correct?? it doesn't even say we need to take photocopies of her passport it just says to bring her passport is that right? And we take the I-864 to the interview too? or do these papers get sent in at another time?? Why would they wait to see these supporting documents til the interview?

This is for a direct file spousal visa through Manila fyi

07-28-2009 : Met online

10-14-2009 : Met for the first time in Cebu, had to go back 11-1-2009

01-14-2010 : Moved to Cebu

02-25-2010 : Married

10-14-2010 : DCF I-130 at Manila Embassy

10-21-2010 : Additional requested supporting evidence received at embassy

11-05-2010 : I-130 application approved

11-11-2010 : Received Packet 3 via Fed Ex with MNL Case #

11-18-2010 : Packet 3 (DS-230 and Interview request) received at embassy

11-22-2010 : Calling to try and get an interview date set!

12-16-2010 : Medical completed in Manila at St. Lukes

12-17-2010 : Flying back to the US to prepare for Maricel's arrival

01-12-2011 : Interview Set

01-12-2011 : APPROVED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

01-20-2011 : Receive Visa

01-25-2011 : CFO Seminar completed - ready to go!

02-12-2011 : Leave Manila

02-13-2011 : POE at Houston, TX

02-23-2018: Sent N-400 Application online

02-23-2018: Date on NOA, retrieved from online account

02-23-2018: Date on Biometrics Appointment Letter (Biometrics Appointment at Jacksonville ASC on March 13, 10:00 a.m.)

03-08-2018: Biometrics complete

04-05-2018: Case status updated - Interview Scheduled on May 10, 2018, 10:15 a.m. :D

05-10-2018: Citizenship Interview - Passed English and Civics Tests, Recommended for Approval! :D 

06-19-2018: Received email and text notification: Naturalization Ceremony Scheduled; waited for letter to be uploaded on online account - it has been set on Wednesday, July 25, 3:00 p.m.

07-25-2018: I am now a U.S. Citizen!

Yes we did a DCF. We just sent back packet 3. It said not to send the support docs in with it but to have them ready I guess for the interview.

07-28-2009 : Met online

just curious... me and my wife are just about to file a dcf in december.... i was just curious how long does it take them to give you packet 3? thanks thanks

5-20-2009: met through a mutual friend she went to college with and i worked with

7-05-2009: officially became a 'couple'

11-28-2009: moved to manila, i also proposed

12-28-2009: married :)

12-09-2010: Submitted our I-130 at the embassy (DCF)

12-14-2010: mailed in additional evidence (employment cert., rental contract)

01-28-2011: we finally received NOA

02-09-2011: WE RECEIVED PACKET 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

02-14-2011: Sent packet 3 to the embassy

02-23-2011: Received letter for interview appointment

03-01&02-2011: Medical exam. passed!!!!

04-01-2011: INTERVIEW!!!!! APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

06-04-2011: POE: Salt Lake City, Utah!

07-29-2012: 3 months pregnant!!!
