The lady asked me if I want Dec 1, 6, 7, 8 , or 9 ( not sure what else is open for the 1st week. but Dec1 is for sure)

I was able to sched my fiance for the 9th.

same here for the 9th...but will move it most probably one they have open slots for 13th and so... coz my fiance will be here on the 9th...sigh I really hope they will still open new slots. Thanks!

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PROCEDURES

On December 1, 2010, the U.S. Embassy in Manila will implement new visa application procedures. With only one payment (the current MRV fee based on the visa classification), the following services will be provided to all applicants:

MRV fee collection, either over the counter or online, at any branch of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), and online payment through Bancnet

Scheduling of visa appointments (through call center number 982-5555 or online appointment website http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph; from mainland U.S. call 214-571-1600)

Providing information on general visa inquiries

Delivery of passports for approved visa applications

In connection with these changes, please be informed of the following:

Unused VisaPoint™ personal identification numbers (PINs) are valid through November 26, 2010, only. If applicants do not book an appointment before this date, the PIN will be forfeited and an interview must be scheduled following the instructions provided here.

MRV fee payments can still be made through CitiBank or Banco de Oro (BDO) through November 30, 2010. Applicants who pay within this period, or applicants who paid the fee but have not yet booked an appointment, must schedule an interview through the new call center only. See this page for the contact information.

MRV fee payments are no longer transferable. When an applicant pays the MRV fee, the applicant’s passport (or a photocopy of the passport’s biographic page) must be presented to the bank teller. The applicant’s passport number will be tied to the MRV fee paid at the bank. The same rule applies to online payment of MRV fees.

Applicants with confirmed interview appointments will not be affected by this transition. They can appear at the Embassy on the date scheduled and their applications will be processed as usual.

NO. K1's will still need D156 (2 Copies), D157, and D156k.

I don't think so coz K1 is an exception to visa application online. Those who are applying online are required to fill out DS-160.

nothing changes guys, the Government is just changing contractors for scheduling and collection of fees. The forms, evidence etc stays the same
