We have buses, light rail, and a commuter train between Dallas and Fort Worth, and still no one rides them :lol:

I think that says more about those genius you claim reside in that silly area. Genius like the ENRON mob.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Less urban sprawl?

There's a lot of urban sprawl. But train lines are ubiquitous and commuters with jobs in NYC do use them. The alternative is paying a fortune to park your car in NYC, spending hours stuck in traffic and paying a ton in tolls for the privilege.

I live within 5 miles of 5 train stations with a 6th station at slightly over 5 miles. I can get to NYC from any of them.

I think that says more about those genius you claim reside in that silly area. Genius like the ENRON mob.

I'll actually use the commuter train by parking just outside Dallas when going downtown to events... Parking is ilke $20 a lot of times. I can ride the train round trip for $5 and avoid the traffic getting out.

nah. I'd pay the $20 parking if I had to, doesn't really matter to me. If there's a cheaper option I'll take it.

I won't advocate public transportation, especially anything rail based, until it can actually make money instead of being a drain on tax dollars.
