I know while filing for the I-130 application we are suppose to send copies only unless requested by USCIS. I am organizing all the forms rite now and I copy all original with color copy. Is there a problem with color or USCIS just want black copies. Thanks all

I used color copies and I got an RFE for being illegible. When I sent the same document in black\white, there was no problem.

They dont need to be color, they just need to be clear quality so the can read them.... the important part is if they ask for a certified copy of something.. then it needs to be from the issuing agency, not just a photocopy.. and originals and or certified copies must be available at the interview....

Recommend scanning the documents and then printing in black and white on laser printer,

and label them as copies. The copies I made on copy machines did not look very good, but

the ones on laser printer looked great.
