Hello everybody, I'm new here and I hope you can help with a question. We were approved Oct 21, and now are waiting for e-mail to send DS-3032 and pay I-864 fee and IV fee. Can my wife go for her police certicate now in Thailand before we get the packet from NVC or do we have to wait for it to show the police the case number? Thanks.

She could do it now by showing anything indicating she is getting a visa. However it might be a little early in light of how long it could be until she interviews.

Keep in mind the embassy is closed for all American & Thai holidays. This will extend interview dates & may cause a backlog. They usually see about 700 cases per month.

I'm still not sure how she did it, but my wife was able to send a motorbike taxi over there and get it. She sent a photo to the motorbike guy and a copy of her ID. Not sure if your SO is in Bangkok or not. If not in Bangkok, PM me and I can get more details on how she did it. Here's the details on the police report:

"Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

Hello,

My name is Rus and my Thai wife has to get a police certificate, right now

I would really appreciate, if you could help me to get an information regarding a police certificate. My wife, currently, lives in Kamphaeng Phet province, however she used to work in Bangkok before, and still has been renting an apartment over there. Can she get a police certificate in Bangkok or should she go to Chiang Mai,where her province belongs to. Besides, how long it usually takes to get this certificate and if there is a way to expedite it?

Have a nice day.

Regards,

Rus

Guys, BEWARE OF THE CHEATERS AND DISHONEST PEOPLE,ON THIS FORUM.

I had a "pleasure" of getting "help" from one of them.not that long time ago.One of the forum members with a nick daboyz had offered me a help with getting a police certificate faster, than usual,in 2-3 days as the matter of fact. He suggested my wife to contact his wife.

As the matter of fact, they did talk. And, as far as i understood, his wife had told my spouse that in order to get this police certificate in 2 weeks, she would need to give her 5000 Bht.Otherwise, my wife would have needed to wait,at least,45 days with some other problems that might have occurred down the road.

Nevertheless,my wife has just gotten a police certificate, after 2 weeks of waiting, FOR FREE.

I don't know guys,if this is the way you make money, out of deceiving the innocent people, or something else. I just hope, we will not communicating again.

Take care pal.
