Hi,

I'm getting ready to file my I-129F but we need to write our letters of intent with the evolution of the relationship. I'm not sure if, how, or why we should explain why she returned to her home country early when she was in the US on a F-1 visa. But it will probably come up in this.

My Thai fiancee entered the US in 2007 on a F-1 visa and it was valid until 2012. We met in January 2010 and in September 2010 we decided we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. Long story short, she and I have had some problems with her F-1 visa sponsor (major a-hole!). She went to move out so we could start our life together and told her sponsor why. Her sponsor didn't approve and when he saw her packed bags, he literally in 1 hour bought her a plane ticket home, threw her stuff in the car, and drove her to the airport. I told her not to get on the plane because bringing her back wouldn't be easy. But she was confused and scared of her sponsor so she got on the plane. I guess when I told her I would do anything for us to be together that included chasing her half way around the world...

Should we include this on why she returned home early when she still had almost 2 years left on her F-1 visa? We wouldn't include all the details but would include that her sponsor didn't approve of her going with me and no longer wanted to be her sponsor. We could have gotten married the next day so he wasn't her sponsor but it didn't matter he is god and had to win.

Also, the passport photos she sent me were photoshopped (not by her) to remove her blemishes. They almost don't even look like her. I asked her about this and it seems it is a cultural thing. Should I request she retake them and make sure they aren't photoshopped this time? They removed a very small distinguishable birthmark from her cheek so when you compare her passport photo with photos of us together you do a double take to make sure it is the same person.

Thanks!

Passport photos that are to be submitted with the petition, are not to be -- I'm almost positive here -- Photoshopped, in any manner, whatsoever.

Thanks and I just found that in the I-129F instructions. I never read the instructions since I was using a lawyer. I guess I should start just in case.

Please and I stress please download the instructions for 129F from USCIS and read them thoroughly. It is so important not to miss anything. Just make sure this is what you really want as there have been a lot of sad cases on here lately with certain country fiance petitions.
