Okay, my wife has her final interview in Rio de Janeiro THIS Tuesday!! I just wanted to be sure I have two of the items on the I-864 filled out properly.

okay, Item 21-household size. 21a is obviously 1 for people i am sponsoring. 21b is 1 for myself. Now 21c "are you currently married?" Do I put a 1 because I am married to the person I am sponsoring? it says above that "Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit."

And the other question is 24b. it asks for income i am using from any other person counted in my household size. My father is the co-sponsor, but he is not included in my household size. Do I just leave this section blank?

Thank you VERY much!!! This is going to be a huge help!

I am assuming that you are sponsoring only for your wife ,no kids or other. So in this case write 21a - [01] for ur wife & 21b - [01] for yourself.

Now in 21c ,it is asking "are u married?" ,yes you are. BUT DONT WRITE 01 IN THAT COLUM ,BCOZ ON THE TOP IT SAYS ITSELF ,"DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE".SO ur household size is 2.

Now ur using ur dad as a co-sponsor.He is not living with you, means he is not ur household member. So 24b will be blank or NA.

Good luck to ur wife for visa interview.Tell her be calm and positive. It will be so easy.
