Is there any chance Accra consulate would ask you to appear for an interview before you do your medical examination? Also, can it be skip in the process? Thanks!

My wife's case was completed at NVC on December 2, 2009. Could someone tell me how long it would take for her to be schedule for an interview at Accra consulate?

No the medical examination cannot be skipped - but I am not sure whether your embassy requires it before or after the interview but it would certainly be done before a decision is made.

Accra seems to have it before. At least at the Akai house they asked for your appointment letter and a copy of the NOA-2 (for a K-1).

You should check with Matana74 since they are the only recent interview in your catagory and see what the differences were from K-1.

Best of luck

Yes it most definatly must be done before and there is no way it can be skipped. When we got packet three they sent us instructions for the medical. And to make matters worse my husband had to pay them under the table to get it done fast enough for the interview because they were procrastinating with the results.

If you get them done early enough it shouldnt be a problem. Especially if interviews are going to always be scheduled 6 month out- that gives plenty of time so you dont have to pay extra.
