Hi, we did the medical exam today. Although she passed, the doctor currently refuses to sign the medical exam forms saying that the forms are not accepted by Guangzhou cos is printed single sided instead of double sided.

in packet 4, they never provide any medical forms, and the instructions mentioned the doctors should provide those forms to us. However, the doctor said guangzhou on 9-30 sent them a letter stating that they should no longer provide forms to applicants...

anyone having issues like this? and how it is resolved?

Thx!

IMO, the easiest way to trump the doctor -

is to get into a copy shop, make 'double sided copies'

of

blank medical forms you downloaded off the GUZ IV forms site

and go back to the doctor, new blank (and double-sided) forms in hand.

IMO, he's being a bit ignorant, and it'll be hard to 'fix him' without a new memo from GUZ IV.

That is just ridiculous because we also downloaded the forms and the clinic Yi went to did not have a problem with this. Just do as Darnell suggests and go back. Good luck.

This issue was resolved finally a week ago... I also got words from the consulate stating that the consulate accepts forms downloaded from their website and it doesn't matter to them if those forms are printed single-sided or double-sided.

I think we should have went to a different clinic... because later i found out that it wasn't really because of single-sided or double sided. They originally thought the forms were sent by the consulate. they were been told not to sent out medical forms, so it was a communication issue on their end. Worst part was the packet 4 instructions said clearly that they should provide the forms and they don't agree with it.

I don't know how they process this kind of things now days...
