Hi.. I just got engaged and my fiance is from Mexico.

He has a tourist visa and comes every weekend to the states visit me.

We are trying to get his K1 visa so he can move here but right now he has a tourist visa.

Is there a conflict applying for the K1 visa while he has the tourist visa?

Also through out this whole process I know he has to move to the states but will he be able to cross to Mexico all the time or is there a period of time where he can not cross.

We are nervous about this process and want to do everything right and legal.

Thanks!

sorry but he is going to have to go home - he can visit but not live. Once he has the K1 he cannot leave at all! If he does it is considered abandonment and you will have to start again.
