Just got the 2nd interview letter yesterday in the mailbox... I already heard this happening to people in here and would like to know if I need to do something.

The first letter came from Spokane and this 2nd came from Lee's Summit, MO, with different dates, of course...

I was thinking to just show up for the 1st interview and give them the other letter... Is this what I should do??? Im not even bothering to call the 'misunderstanding line' cuz is just a pain...

Thanks for any advice,

Carol

I got 2 dates for my AOS interview...actually 3. One from Lee's Summit for August 18th, then a cancellation of that date. Then a notice from Miami for August 8th and then another from Lee's Summit for September 5th. We went to the appointment on August 8th and the officer is cancelling our interview for September 5th. He said it's a good thing we went for the one issued from Miami or the would have cancelled our petition for Failure to Show.

I would go to the first, take the letter for the second date and see what the officer says.

The officer said this could also of been the reason why our case is stuck in FBI name check...there is some confusion somewhere.

Just make sure to follow up with the officer who is cancelling your second appointment. I am sending a letter to the Miami office on Tuesday to ensure this has been done!

What? What are the dates of your interviews? I thought there should only be 1 interview... and you haven't even gone to the 1st one yet?!

1st letter --> interview date is Sep, 19th

2nd letter --> interview date is Sep, 28th

Yeah as what miamimommy suggested, you better show up in the 1st interview and bring along that other letter requesting for the 2nd interview. Just see if they can cancel the 2nd one.

Hm... just curious... why do some people not have even 1 interview then others have 2?
