I HAVE a scenario that needs clarification.I am sponsoring my wife and minor child.I do not need a joint sponsor.

EXAMPLE FROM I 864

person you are sponsoring in this affidavit

a. Enter the number you entered in line 10 - 2 ( my wife and child)

Persons not sponsored in this affidavit:

b. Yourself - 1

c. If you are married, enter 1 for your spouse - 1 or 0? ( I think I do not need to enter my wife again correct?)

d. If you have dependent children, enter the number here - 1 or 0? ( I think I do not need to enter my child in this spot again?)

Thanks very much. Iam over thinking and want to make sure

You are correct. Wife and child do not get counted twice. :thumbs:
