visa delivery in chronopost

I just wanted to share a scary experience.

My chronopost envelope had been put into my letter box - nobody rang or whatever, I had nothing to sign. I observed any car or whatever coming by as well as the internet chronopost site, and when it said "delivered, receiver's name was such-and-such", I was scared and had a look in my letter box again - the chronopost envelope was there.

Actually, 20 minutes before that, the regular postman came by and I had already taken out the regular mail.

So, the chronopost had been delivered by someone else, I did not see anyone, I did not sign anything.

For this, I had paid 24 euros...

Hello ivyzone,

I know it is a late comment but I wanted to contribute.

I think the Chronopost service is sometimes delivered by people hired by La Poste (they are not postmen and they deliver with their own cars).

It sounds really scary and frustrating since the content of the envelope means the world to us and we paid 24 euros for a supposedly more secure service.

I am actually waiting for mine and I hope it will be fine.

Hope everything is great for you.
