Hello everyone.. I've searched the Internet high and low to find an answer to my question, and tried to get through to USCIS via their service center, but I can't get an answer anywhere. Perhaps somebody here will be able to help me out.

My concurrent I-485/I-130 petition was rejected due to an outdated form used for the I-485. Apparently it was revised in July, shortly before I mailed my stack of applications off to USCIS.

Now here is my question: Do I need to reprint ALL the forms, even I-130, I-765, I-485 and ALL the supporting documents and evidence?

The thing is, every single paper I sent in has the receiving date and initials printed all along the right side. I don't have a copier at home, and if I can avoid reprinting everything, that would be great.

Also, my husband's job letter was an original.. I do have a copy of it, but I'm assuming they would want the original sent in again (but as mentioned already, it too has dates and initials printed all along the right side.)

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

What is the date on your I-485 form? I am going to submit my application soon and would like to avoid the same problem.

I was going to submit the 12/16/08 revision of the I-485 (which I'd downloaded from the USCIS site within the past year), but I checked the VisaJourney sample forms and their version of the I-485 looked new. When I checked the USCIS site here, I read that only the 07/15/10 and 12/03/09 revisions of I-485 are accepted now, even though the 12/16/08 revision expires on 11/30/11, more than one year later than the 12/31/2010 expiration date from the 07/15/10 revision.

I don't know why there have been so many revisions in the past two years, but the 12/16/08 and 07/15/10 revisions are nearly identical. The 07/15/10 revision is 6 instead of 4 pages, but the only real differences are that the same font is used for all blanks now and that additional criminal background questions are asked.

Can you tell us which version of each document was rejected?
