Hi everyone,

I had read the sticky at the beginning of the forum and I really appreciated the information given. I'm hoping that some other people can give me some insight as to how their I-751 went and if they could give some pointers if I'm missing anything ...

Per the suggestions in the sticky, I tried to incorporate more financial ties.

We're sending in the following as evidence:

2008 & 2009 jointy-filed Income Tax

Papers showing my wife as the beneficiary of my 401K, life insurance, and business travel accident insurance

Papers showing my wife on my medical, dental and vision insurance w/ a copy of the medical card

Statement from our bank showing a joint account

Photocopy of 2 shared credit cards

Transfer deed of our home to Community Property with Right of Survivorship

Home Equity Line of Credit agreement in both our names

Copy of our itinerary of a flight to Hawaii

Various photos of us, family and friends throughout 2008 - 2010.

We don't have a car in our name; my parents sold us their car and they are holding the pink slip until it's paid off. The insurance is also under their name with us on it, but I just checked the papers and they spelled her name wrong ... very badly. *rolls eyes*

Thanks for reviewing and helping!

Nice list of evidence. I sent in half of your list of evidence and still got approved. Here is a list of documents I sent:

- 2008 & 2009 taxes filed jointly

- 2 years of bank statements

- Joint automobile insurance

- apartment lease

- misc mail addressed to both of us

- flight boarding pass

- daughters birth certificates

- 2 affidavit letters from friends

what about utilities?

Your list is good, but if you are not including something that normally would be included, then I recommend you include a brief explanation in a cover letter on why you are not including some items. At this point, it is best to disclose all things to USCIS to avoid a RFE.

Ooops, I do have a copy of our long-distance phone company. My water/sewage, electric, and other bills refuse to put a second name on the bill. I think it's a good idea to disclose the reason why they're missing, though.

Thanks!

Although it is late now, but we had the same problem with our utilities and they refused to add a second name - we insisted and talked to managers and got a second name on the bills, or at least we got a second name on their records as authorized users. Then we asked them to send us a letter stating that both names are on the accounts. The way we looked at it is we are the customers, and we should get what we want!

Try to see if you can add your wife as an authorized user (speak to a manager) and have them send you a letter... it might be worth a shot.

Thanks for the tip! I will try to do that. I forgot that our AT&T has her name as well as DirecTV and Netflix, so I'll include those. =)

I decided to throw in some more 'personal' stuff, even though it said in the sticky that it would do little help. I decided that "little help" is better than "suspiciously strange that it's left out", as you had mentioned. =) So I put in a copy of some cards we've received from family and the wedding announcement from my hometown newspaper. I also found our County Property Tax bill, so I'm tossing that in. =)

Thanks again for the feedback and suggestions!
